RowIdentity

Enum RowIdentity

Source
pub enum RowIdentity {
    IndependentUuid,
    SharedKey,
}
Expand description

How (table, id) names one logical row across every device.

Equality always means one row, including equality between two valid UUIDs. The mode controls which ids may be introduced; it does not change merge equality. Changing a primary key removes the old identity and introduces the new one.

Variants§

§

IndependentUuid

Rows created independently use canonical lowercase hyphenated RFC UUID version 4 or 7 ids.

§

SharedKey

Application-assigned keys intentionally name the same logical row on every device.
